While Dijon and Beaune are two major cities, there are many small towns in Burgundy area so it’s important to pick your home based depending on what you are looking for. Here’s what I learned from planning a trip and spending a few days in the region.

Visit during off-season (Nov-Jan) for higher chance of visiting a winery
Wineries are more likely to accept visitors when they are not busy with harvest or working at the vineyards.
